This platform is located at https://www.ctclouds.com/ (the “Website”), which is owned and operated by China Telecom Global Limited and its affiliates or agents (hereinafter referred to as “CTG”, “the Company”, “we”, or “us”). This Statement describes how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, store, and share (collectively, “Process”) your personal information for the products, services, activities, and experiences of the Website (“the Product”).

We are committed to complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”), the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China (“PIPL”), and all subsequent amendments to such laws and regulations. This Privacy Statement does not apply to any products, websites, or content provided by third-party cloud platforms (including "e-Surfing Cloud Platform"). When you provide personal data to us on a third-party cloud platform website or platform, the personal data you provide may be collected separately by the third-party cloud platform and is subject to the privacy statement of the third-party cloud platform website or platform. We are not responsible for the compliance measures of such websites or platforms.

As used in this Privacy Statement, "Personal Information" means information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual under applicable law. For example, this information may include your name, address, email address, business contact details, or information collected when you interact with us through our websites or events.

1. Information Collection

(a) Information related to opening a website account: During your use of this website or our services, the Company may collect certain information related to you (such as your account information, email address, and password) in order to provide you with account opening and after-sales services for the cloud service platform.

(b) Authentication information required to activate platform services: If you need to activate platform services after logging into your website account, the Company may collect the registration authentication information required before activating the service, such as your authentication account, email address, region, city, contact name, phone number, email, address, bank account information, authorization, and identity authentication information, etc.

(c) Registration information required for opening or binding a specific cloud platform account: After you log in and pass the platform authentication, if you need to open a third-party cloud platform account, use its services, and use the cross-platform unified billing service on this website, the Company may collect personal information related to the registration or binding account required for the authorization of the required cloud platform billing account in order to complete the authorization authentication of the relevant third-party cloud platform account.

(d) Each time you visit this website, we may automatically collect the following information for analysis and diagnosis of problems: Technical information, including your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address (a unique identifier used to connect your computer to the Internet), browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, and platform. Information about your visit, including clickstream data of the full Uniform Resource Locators ("URLs") to, through, and from our site; products and services you viewed; page response times; download errors; length of page visits; page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse movements), and methods by which you browse away from the page.

(e) In business cooperation, we collect your company's basic information, such as company name, industry type, and designated contact information, to provide you with authentication, activation, and after-sales service for your cloud platform service account.

(f) We collect your consumption records, payment information, account balance change information, and other consumption bill information on the multi-cloud platform website after you activate the relevant cloud platform, in order to provide you with payment and other order management functions.

You have the right to choose not to provide or disclose your personal information to us. However, if you refuse to provide or do not allow us to collect your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with certain information or services or you may not be able to log in to access certain parts of this website. We only retain your personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the following purposes:

Where permitted by law and with your consent, the Company may use your personal information for the following purposes:

(a) Providing this product: Providing and delivering one-stop cloud service products and processing related activities, including registration, subscription, purchase, and payment, and sharing your information with providers of payment and transaction performance services in order to process your order.

(b) Operate, evaluate, optimize, improve, and develop products: Evaluate the use of this product, analyse performance, fix errors, test, provide product support, conduct research, statistics, surveys, improve and develop products, and solicit your feedback.

(c) Communicate with you: Communicate with you about the Product through different channels and respond to your requests.

(d) Recommendation and marketing: Recommend products suitable for you, understand your preferences, and conduct marketing and promotion.

(e) Comply with legal obligations: Comply with applicable law, legal process or lawful governmental requests, or in connection with any claim or potential claim against us or our parent, shareholders, subsidiaries, and affiliates. For example, we collect your bank account information from third-party payment service recipients for identity verification purposes.

(f) Fraud and abuse prevention and credit risk: Detect, investigate and prevent potential violations of our policies, and identify activities that pose security risks, fraud, abuse, or illegal activities in order to protect the safety of our customers, the Site, and others. We may use scoring methods to assess and manage credit risk.

(g) Other purposes: We also need to obtain your consent, where necessary, to use your personal information for other specific purposes that we communicate with you.

3. Data Storage and Sharing and Transfer of Personal Information

We retain your personal information to enable you to continue to use this product and only for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, to meet legal requirements (including but not limited to tax and accounting purposes), or to notify you otherwise. The duration for which we retain specific personal information depends on its purpose or the law requires that the information be retained for a longer period. We will delete your personal information in accordance with applicable laws.

Your personal information will be stored in servers in Hong Kong, and this website will not transfer your data across borders. If your use of a third-party cloud service platform involves cross-border data transmission, you should follow the relevant agreements and privacy statements of the third-party cloud platform, and we do not assume any responsibility.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties only in below circumstances:

(a) Sharing personal information with our affiliates: Affiliates will be bound by this Privacy Statement or follow equivalent protections as this Privacy Statement.

(b) With the third-party cloud platform service provider you selected: Based on your explicit selection, we may need to cooperate with third-party cloud platform products to provide the one-stop platform services you need. For example, when you select the account binding service of a specific cloud platform, we need to share account information with the third-party cloud platform to verify the account registration and share your consumption and payment information on the relevant platform in accordance with your service agreement.

(c) Third-party service providers selected by us: We may hire other companies to perform related activities on our behalf, such as delivering services for this product, sending communications, processing payments, real-name authentication, assessing credit and compliance risks, analysing data, providing marketing and sales assistance (including advertising and campaign management), managing customer relationships, and providing training.

(d) Business transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or services. In such transactions, personal information generally becomes one of the transferred business assets but will remain subject to the Privacy Statement that governed it prior to the transfer. Additionally, although in the unlikely event that we or substantially all of our assets are acquired, your information may be transferred. In such a scenario, we will provide you with advance notice and the opportunity to provide appropriate consent or objection to the transfer.
